Bumpy is an online platform, developed and operated by Bumpy AB (Org. no. 559317-9590) which we refer to here as either "Bumpy", "We", "Us" or "Our", that provides users with support, information, recommendations and services related to (in)fertility, including tools for researching and/or contacting fertility clinics and other related providers which we here refer to as our “Services”.

The information that you and others entrust us with enhances our ability to provide more relevant, personalized and helpful Services. We are committed to providing you with helpful information, products and services, curated based on the information you have shared with us and are committed to respecting and protecting your privacy when you use our mobile application or visit our website and/or use our Services.

Personal Information you provide by filling in forms:

Information that you provide by filling in forms on Our app or website. This includes information provided at the time of registering or subscribing to our service. We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with Our app or website. If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence. We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them. Details of your visits to Our app or website including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, whether this is required for our own billing purposes or otherwise and the resources that you access.

IP Addresses:

We may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and to report aggregate information to our advertisers. This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.

Our website uses cookies to distinguish you from other users of our website. This helps us to provide you with a good experience when you browse our website and also allows us to improve our site. How We Process Data

Authentication:

User data collected during account creation is processed securely through Firebase Authentication, leveraging industry-standard encryption and security protocols.

Analytics:

We utilize Firebase Analytics to process usage data, helping us understand how you engage with the app, track performance, and optimize your user experience.

Contacting Clinics:

When you fill out the clinic contact form, your contact details are shared with clinics to facilitate communication. Clinics can access your contact information through their web portal. Once a clinic has contacted you and marks the inquiry as "contacted,"we remove your contact details from the clinic web portal.

Clinic Reviews:

When you submit a review for a clinic, it becomes visible on the Bumpy app, website, and our clinic web portal. If you decide to delete your review, it will be permanently removed from our system and no longer visible.

Community Interactions:

When you interact with Our community in the Bumpy app by creating a post, commenting or replying to others or liking content, this information will be visible to all users on the Bumpy app. If you delete / remove your post, comment, reply or like it will be permanently removed from our system and no longer visible.

Purposes for Data Processing

We process Personal Data for the following purposes:

User Experience:

To provide and maintain our Service, including to monitor the usage of our Service. User data also enables us to provide a personalized App experience, such as customizing content, notifications and app features.

App Improvement:

We may use your information for data analysis, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of certain features and to evaluate and improve our Service. Analytics data helps us identify areas of the App that need improvement, fix bugs, and enhance performance.

Security:

To assist in verifying user identities, safeguarding accounts and preventing fraudulent activities.

Support Community:

The app aims to create a supportive and informative community where users can share their fertility stories, connect, and find clinics. Users can learn from others’ experiences and seek emotional support during their fertility journey.

User Engagement:

To enhance your App experience and user engagement through features such as likes, comments, and messaging.

Account Management:

To manage your registration as a user of the Service. The personal data you provide can give you access to different functionalities of the Service that are available to you as a registered user.

Sending contact information to clinics:

To send your contact information directly to clinics, based on the dedicated form that you have completed, with your consent. On this basis, the system sends your inquiry directly to the clinics of your choice and these clinics will contact you directly. Processing of your inquiry may appear in direct communication with a Patient Coordinator or staff at the clinic via email or telephone.

Marketing:

To provide you with news, articles, events, updates, general information about the Service and information about our partner clinics and promotions unless you have opted not to receive such information.

Contact:

To contact you by email or other equivalent forms of electronic communication, such as a mobile application’s push notifications regarding updates or informative communications related to the functionalities, products, updates. Or to attend and manage your requests to Us.

Cookies:

To help us provide you with a better website, by enabling us to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us. You can choose to accept or decline cookies.

Retention of Your Personal Data

We will retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your personal data to the extent necessary to comply with Our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

We share your information with our partner clinics, based on the dedicated form that you have completed and with your consent.

When you share personal information or interact with others in Our community within our app, such information may be viewed by all Bumpy app users and may be publicly distributed outside. If you interact with other users or register through a Third-Party Social Media Service, other Bumpy app users may view your profile and see your name, profile picture and description.

With Your consent:

We may disclose your personal information for any other purpose with Your consent.

With Affiliates:

We may share your information with Our affiliates, in which case we will require those affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy. Affiliates include any subsidiaries, joint venture partners or other companies that We control or that are under common control with Us.

We may share or transfer your personal information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, sale of Bumpy assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of Our business to another company.

Storage and Deletion of Personal Data

How You May Request Deletion of Data

We respect your right to data deletion. To request the deletion of your data:

Account Deletion:

You have the right and possibility to delete your Bumpy account from our Application and all the information which is stored with it at any given time. If you want to delete your account, you can find this option in your account settings in Our app. Select 'Delete account' on your profile page, under 'Settings'. When you delete your Bumpy account, we immediately start the process of removing your data from the product and our systems, ensuring that your data is deleted securely and in compliance with applicable data protection laws. For example, any posts you created and shared to the community will be removed together with your account. Keep in mind that some data, such as anonymized analytics data, may be retained for legitimate business purposes and app improvement only.

Content Removal:

You have the option to remove your community posts, comments and likes within the Bumpy app at any time. You may also remove any clinic reviews at any time.

You can contact our support team through the app or our support email address to request data deletion.

Newsletter:

You may also unsubscribe from our newsletters or similar communication at any time. In such an event we will no longer store or process your personal data for such purposes.

Disclosure of Your Personal Data

Business Transactions

If Bumpy is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, your personal data may be transferred. We will provide notice before your personal data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.

Law enforcement

Under certain circumstances, We may be required to disclose your personal data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).
